As part of its Giving Tuesday fundraiser on Dec. 1, 2020, the Petersen Automotive Museum will stream a two-hour-long, live tour of its exhibits and The Vault Presented by Hagerty. Viewers are encouraged to tune in to the live event and donate; the museum will use the donations to preserve its collection, support the community with free programming, and produce additional digital content during its closure.

During its 26th Annual Gala Celebration on Sept. 26, 2020, the Petersen Automotive Museum will auction the MKII Slab Side continuation vehicle produced by Irvine-based manufacturer Superformance LLC. The proceeds generated from the sale of this vehicle and the other auction lots will benefit The Petersen Automotive Museum Foundation — a non-profit 501(c)(3) charity that supports underprivileged students in the Los Angeles community.

The Petersen Automotive Museum announced today its complete schedule of events and list of judges for Petersen Car Week Presented by Michelin, which will take place from August 12-16, 2020. The week-long event will feature over 25 hours of original content.
Viewers can tune in daily to watch original content from manufacturers, enthusiasts, automotive lifestyle events, and auction houses. Videos will be broken apart into hour-long episodes that will premiere on the Petersen’s YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/user/petersenmuseum).
