Mario Gear is a passionate automotive enthusiast with over 15 years of experience in the industry. He has made significant contributions, including aiding the 2010 rookie of the year in the SCCA World Challenge GT. Throughout his career, Mario has been involved in various team support roles for several SCCA World Challenge GT teams, from building, fabricating, and repairing race cars to track day support, performance upgrades, and vehicle fleet maintenance for corporate clients.
Mario's extensive involvement in the automotive industry has allowed him to establish a strong network of contacts with various companies. He aspires to collaborate with both established and new companies, bringing valuable information and engaging content to his audience.
In late 2014, Mario made a significant personal decision to become a full-time family caregiver for his parents, leading him to leave behind a career he enjoyed. He currently resides in Northern California, in the heart of Silicon Valley. Mario's passion for automobiles ignited at an early age when he received his first subscription copy of Road & Track magazine. Even during school, his teachers would often find him designing his dream automotive garage shop.
Mario's love for all aspects of the automotive lifestyle is evident through his vehicle collection, which currently includes a 1995 Cobra Mustang #1837 out of 4005 made that year, featuring the Black Leather trim option, a 2004 Ford F150 Lariat 4x4, and a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT."
