DART MACHINERY NOW OFFERING HIGH PERFORMANCE ALUMINUM ENGINE BLOCKS FOR HONDA APPLICATIONS
B-18 and B-20 Series Cast Aluminum Blocks now available directly from Dart and Authorized Distributors.
Dart is pleased to announce the return of HONDA B-18 and B-20 Series Cast Aluminum Blocks to their line-up of Championship Caliber products. These blocks are built to better withstand the extreme cylinder pressures created by turbochargers and nitrous oxide injection systems. “Dart Machine is excited to re-introduce our aluminum Honda engine block. With high performance Honda engine builds producing 1000hp+ out of a four-cylinder, Dart has made machining and casting changes that will help the engine builder achieve their horsepower goal without compromising quality. The Dart Honda blocks will be available in 212mm and 226mm deck heights and bore sizes of 81.5mm and 84.5mm to fit your Wiseco or JE Pistons.” - Steve Arent, General Sales Manager Dart Machinery Ltd.
These castings have been updated to offer even more advantages over the stock OEM blocks, including:
Improved clearance for aluminum connecting rods on both blocks.
Oil gallery hole moved to better accommodate connecting rod clearance.
New steel billet main caps with ARP main studs offering increased bottom end strength and minimized bearing bore distortion.
Increased deck surface to offer increased rigidity and improved head gasket life.
All Honda Blocks undergo Dart Machinery’s HIP (hot isostatic pressing) process to increase strength and reliability.
These DART Honda Blocks are a great alternative to the original engines which were never intended for racing and high-performance applications. They also offer a solid foundation for builds without any concern over the history of a repurposed used OEM block.
